Our web page allows you to browse our work which demonstrates how we offer a vast range of learning opportunities, which extend, enrich and support students develop into life long learners. Our professional, capable and dedicated team ensure every student’s learning is individualised. 

The students at Glossop Community School have opportunities to develop their leadership abilities as members of Student Representative Council, leaders at assembly, sports shed and classroom monitors. Classroom programs focus on inquiry, self assessment, with a strong focus on writing in all subjects. Each room is equipped with interactive white boards, and the school’s extensive Computer facilities support the curriculum.

The ethos of our school is one where a focus on learning is prime, and high levels of achievement are admired and expected by providing a rigorous curriculum. We actively seek the support of our parent community to actively participate in our school. Opportunities exist to be a part of Governing Council School Committees and volunteer parents supporting classroom activities.
